he can release them - but he can't fine them. If Elliott or Prescott take a knee & Jones chooses to not play them, that's fine. If he releases them, there are probably 25 other teams that would pay them more than what they're currently making.

Jones can't simply take $ out of their pocket because they do something that trump doesn't like.
