have never predicted. But they were wise enough to realize that and they included methods for us to alter the document to meet changing needs.

They were much wiser than we are. We have ignored the proper methods for so long that we have not even attempted change the document in almost fifty years. Instead of doing the work required to make the document fit our needs we have just filled the judicial branch with people willing to ignore it in pursuit of political and social goals.
