But why is it that any Native American mascots are off limits? How would calling them the Chiefs disrespect native cultures? Does the name Saints disrespect Catholics? Cowboys disrespect our forefathers who lived on the frontier? 49ers disrespect the men who helped settle the west coast?
I will give you two. Redskins needs to go, there is nothing redeeming about that mascot. Chief Wahoo has been pretty much retired but needs to fade away entirely.
