The irony, however, of playing the National Anthem of a nation that decimated Native American populations, interjected with an overture of “home of the Chiefs” when clearly Indian Chiefs are relegated to US Government Reservations - did not escape my notice.
Of course, let’s not ignore the team nickname references to Native Americans.
