were off duty first responders or had military experience.
Reminded me of a guy working security at one of the KC haunted houses several years ago who had recently returned from Iraq. When he realized we were a Boy Scout troop he shared he was an Eagle Scout and when his Sgt learned that he put him to work teaching first aid skills to his platoon.
