My parents were upset that I wasn't in the Navy. The Air Force could not believe I didn't want to be a F4 pilot. So there you go. Choices. Day i was drafted (actually inducted) had you count off by 3s. Twos were Marines. I kept my 1. last choice was basic. i chose leonard wood over Ft Lewis as it was 1000 miles closer
