that they were unwilling to compromise. They were unwilling to put their religious convictions aside. This was a no win situation for them and it had the absolute worst outcome possible as they lost both the mother and baby. If they had aborted the baby there were no assurances the mother would have survived the cancer.

They made a moral choice based upon their beliefs. That faith will no doubt help them through this.
