season in 2015 before the protests, on track for only 4 or 5 wins. We actually had our best win of the season following the protest (against BYU).

So, our program was already in bad shape and I doubt the protests made it any worse.

Another thing to keep in mind is that our basketball program currently has a Top 5 recruiting class (nationally). Clearly, the CS1950 stuff didn't affect our ability to recruit top athletes.

The problems we're currently having in football are due to coaching. If we hire a good coach/recruiter, the problems would go away — just like they did in basketball.
