crazy not to invest a few extra million per year in getting a top 10 head coach — it literally pays for itself (and then some), plus everyone's happy because the team is winning.

It's the best investment an AD can make. Other schools have figured this out and have reaped the rewards, but (at least until Sterk arrived) MU has always gone cheap with its head coaches, which is why we're currently in this situation.
