Myself, and others, have clearly pointed out why he was "singled out". I'm not working hard to justify anything, I'm providing facts which you're ignoring.

You're under the assumption every active shooter situation is one person (or people) just standing there holding a gun in the air making it obvious they're the shooters. It's not always obvious, so you have to look for other suspicious activities.
