We can look to the best parts, the best functionality of a variety of systems and put those into place.
15 years ago on this boards, maybe 20, I coined the term Rapacious Capitalism as - well to be it in words of the doofus "extreme capitalism" and it eats its young. System views every last thing, every last resource as a source of profit. We get down to the last 5% of old growth forest and TIMBER says we just want half. You say OK. We are down to the final 2.5% old growth, TIMBER says we just want half. Profit Profit - and they forests carry value beyond the stretch of the mind.
And as long as gains and revenues are isolated and concentrated at the top - we will never recover a truly healthy economy. Yes - spread those gains around as we did 70, 60, 50 years ago and all benefit. When every one does better, everyone does better. Just my take.
And I think what you described fits into the Neo-Feudal model we now enjoy.
