But this is that old tiresome Christian trick that shuts down any possibility of reasonable discussion - the line that It is in our book, our book is perfect, end of story.
TORAH demands death to the adulteress. IF the Bible is, as you say, the WORD of God and God is perfect, that is end of story - but no, now this Jesus fellow shows "forgiveness". But he contradicts the VERY BOOK, the VERY LAW you claimed he wrote. so you want to have it both ways. So, following your faulty line of reasoning, the Torah condemns the queers, but then you negate the possiblity as I suggested that Jesus might have softened that line.
On the other matter, you say it is "nonsense" none had wives - yet NO mention of wives in your book, save one - Magdalene, the partner if Jesus said to the Cristos. Just an FYI for you - Church as "bride of Jesus is an allegory". They did not come up with the idea of celibate priests until centuries later for economic reasons. If a married priest had resources, upon his death, the wife would get those resources. You shut that door by demanding celibacy.,
Try knowing the history of your faith some. As for your claim that I admitted "their" or its existence regarding Babylonian captivity - what are you talking about. It is WIDELY accepted in biblical scholarship that the great tribal tales and old wives stories and tribal history were first put to scroll during the Babylonian Captivity and it is further suggested that Cyrus and Zoroasterism had a great, great influence on the evolution of Judaism at that time. Hit the books some friend.
