everyone you see until they have demonstrated to you personally that they are worthy of your respect?

Must tellers, retailers, bartenders, waiters and salespeople demonstrate to you their worthiness?

That's absurd.

How about give everyone respect until they have demonstrated that they don't deserve it?

And are you suggesting that this country has not done enough to earn your respect?
