embarrassment to him employer. When that happens your employer is going to show you the door ten times out of ten.

Good and great employees can get by with this kind of behavior because the return on investment is a net positive. Kaepernick was not a good enough player for the distraction he was causing. Unfortunately for him the NFL is a very public entity and every other team already knows this about him.

If a few QBs go down this season maybe one of the teams will decide that their return on an investment in him may change, I doubt it.
