Instead he says "we'd like to play them" or "we'd be willing to talk about it" or "we know there's a lot of interest there." blah blah blah. Just let Gregorian and Matter know it's not a priority and there's no phony animosity we've just moved on, as has A & M/UT, Pitt/West Virginia etc. It happens.
