In year 1, ku wouldn't dare play the game for fear of the boss. After that, it was just a PR stunt by ku to make it appear as if they had some say-so. That being said, Dodd & Self are both d-bags so it really doesn't matter.
Since ku is playing other b12 defectors, ku only looks petty in its stance against Mizzou. Time for Mizzou to stop with the "we want to play" crap--we made our point. ku football has so much more to gain by taking the stage we would give than our bball program would get out of playing ku in bball. Let that dead football program stay dead. Why give them a hand up?
