Three years into his ill fated coaching career at Missouri he still had the "youngest team" theme going. None of the players from his first season were still on the team.

If Martin can simply retain some or most of the players he inherited and add his own recruits there will be significant improvement. Coaching involves relationships with players as much as what happens on the court.

Norm's undefeated team in 1994 had 8 seniors on it. Some of the best players hardly played as freshmen but stayed around to enjoy success.
