The Cardinals are 1.5 games out of first place in their league.
They started 3-9
Then when they went 18-6 in the next 24 games I didn't hear anyone thinking Matheny should be fired.
Now they are something like 5-9 in their last 14, one game under .500
They've finished in first place 3 of 5 times, and 2nd place the other two and have been the post-season every year but one with him at the helm.
He has 17 challenges and only 5 overturned calls... wow guess you should fire him
