I don't think you've really looked at our 2017 schedule...

if you disagree at all with what FMB posted. The expectation for next season should be 8-9 wins:

Look at the replies in that thread. At least half agreed that expecting 9 wins is reasonable, and even those who thought it was optimistic seemed to think that expecting 8 wins is reasonable (i.e. maybe we lose to Kentucky or Tennessee). We would have to lose the home game to Tennessee *and* drop both games to Kentucky and Vanderbilt, to win fewer than 7 games. In other words, lose to every team with a pulse.
So what FMB is saying is 100% correct — if we don't win at least 7 games (which means a 6-7 record or worse) then it would be extremely disappointing, and unacceptable considering the schedule.
