sell security packages to small (and large) towns?
Personally, I think they would be less accountable than the government is, but I am certainly no expert on it.
I think having a universal rule of law and enforcement means that everything should happen the same way, from small town to big city. It doesnt happen that way in practice, but if enforcement were privatized between 3-4 big companies, their methods/execution would likely be very different. And thats not a good thing, if true.
