the parts they like. If you question the "prophecies" that foretold Jesus - those are written in stone the word of Yahweh, but if it is something they don't like, they say that's just the Jew thing.

It is kinda funny. And more so - Jesus, the Rabbi Preacher was a hard-core Yahwist who likely would not take to the dilution of the Torah as later Christians put in place. The Paulines did that - and much of that was done to solidify the power of the Church, the installation of Bishops, Deacons and Priests - backpedaling quickly to say no no this came from Peter and Jesus, I swear.
