pretending to know what they are doing. And when you first start out, you're pretending yourself. But that's really really really uncomfortable and you recognize you're overmatched.
So you proactively decide to improve. You spend time not only getting experience, but improving your knowledge base. Taking initiative to improve in areas you are weak.
Once you become strong in your profession, you are easily able to see weaknesses in your opponents and exploit them.
Trump is a weak, weak politician. He is a creature of the LLC, direct and it will be done. His huge real estate holdings are set up the same way as Uncle Bill and Aunt Millie's bait shop in the country. There's no Board of Directors to impress or dazzle.
So yes, he is completely out of his element because he is not experienced in negotiating without financial leverage and in understanding how DC works. And he'll never improve because he's a lazy know it all sack of **** surrounded by people who tell him otherwise.
