Back in the day of carrying 6-shot revolvers I had 2 speedloaders...a total of 18 rounds. I carried 2 speed strips in my pocket for a wbopping total of 30 rounds.


And that was just to feel like I might have a chance if I encountered someone with a 9mm.


My wife dispatched an armed robbery at Red Lobster in OP just before OPPD switched to Berettas. Had the suspect armed with a 9mm semi-auto in a crossfire. One officer ran out of ammo and the second dropped the suspect with his last round.

OPPD sped up the process of migrating away from revolvers soon afterward.
