with SFA. At least CM was the head coach at a P5 school the last 6 years and not in the Southland Conference. It would make a great deal of difference if Coach Underwood had completed a second year at OSU and not just be a one and done. Like I said, this is a reach with the current body of work. Also, remember the U of I is giving him 3 million per year. That seems like a lot for a person with his resume. Like I have said before, it is not the quality of work that I question but more the quantity. Coach Underwood only has one year of high D1 head coaching experience. That makes it seem like a reach.

Also, I do not hold sports writers in high esteem. They are always exaggerating and like it when coaches and players get high salaries. After the situation goes bad they then complain that the institution did not get their money's worth. Writers just want to stir up controversy for higher ratings.
