Expansion of medicare/medicaid IS a federal issue.
Repeal and replace is(was) a federal issue.

If you are arguing that social spending is a bigger piece of the pie, then I agree (I think cuts should be made here).
If you are arguing that social spending is more unaccounted for than defense, Id disagree, but listen to your point.

But right now, I have no idea the point you are making.

Whats more, the dept of defense not being able to find billions of dollars paid out to contractors is proof that the dept of defense needs better accounting before we give them an additional $54B. Everything else is moot. Until they are more transparent and accountable, their cries for more money are muted, at least to me.
