knew that Romar was about to be fired and hinted to probably Sterk that he would like to move back home and pass it on to his candidate.

I just don't think the Porters would run out on Romar like that. They had to anticipate that without them then Romar would be more likely to lose his job.

Hell who knows though what really happened.
