If Tilmon wants out and they refuse a release, I'd bet on him leaving anyway and sitting out a year.

He's not a four-year college player type, so losing a year of eligibility probably wouldn't bother him. Sit out one year, play the next, then go pro.

Or just go straight to the pros overseas somewhere.
