And it's irrelevant anyway, because they both factor in margin of win/loss, as I said.
Here is a description of the 3 models from the BCS era:
"Sagarin uses two models that use 'margin of victory/loss' (Predictor", "Golden Mean") and one that does not (ELO) and averages the 3 in its composite."
That summarizes it perfectly, and is consistent with what I was saying. ELO is obsolete now, and is a non-points-based model that Sagarin was basically forced to add due to pressure from the BCS. When that dissolved, he tossed the ELO component because it's not an accurate predictor.
