Holding on just because it was their thing to do each fall Saturday and they haven't found a new way to use their time.
All know it is a bigger problem than Mizzou. Now when you support a team you have to support their politics and beliefs. With kids or even the PROs. Who can predict. Only removal of $$ will help. Can't even wear the logo gear anymore without people saying you must support the hoaxes. Won't send my kids there for school. Hard seeing my daughter comb through a dozen schools and pitch the Mizzou material but I agree 100% with her choice.
I don't believe for a second enough $$$ will be removed with all the betting on sports. That said, I admire those with principles that have walked away. I agree you can follow without giving $$$ and not make the problem worse to a degree. When you turn on the TV to watch you are giving advertising $$$. Or you can just walk away which will be a process for a lot of people.
