We won't be seeded, and will be on the road at Kansas, who will be seeded somewhere in the 8-10 range probably. They are currently ranked #4 and have an RPI of 10.
If we beat Florida and win out we will tie for the SEC conference title with Florida and Kentucky, but will be 3-0 against those teams. Even then I just think it will be tough to be seeded. Not at all a given.
If we had beaten SC, and this happens, we would be conference champs all alone, on an 8-0 win streak, and would have won 21 of our last 22 matches, with our only loss in that time span being on the road to a very good TAMU team with one of our best players, perhaps the SEC POY, injured. Now that narrative is gone.
It's probably useless to speculate more about our chances of getting a national seed, until after we play Florida, and see where we are in both the human poll and the RPI rankings on Monday afternoon. By then we will either be still in it, or on the road to Lawrence.
