I was in attendance at the game last night and couldn't be more excited about what the tigers have the potential to do this year. Cullen shot the ball like he did in high school at Pacific, and he emerged as a clear leader of the squad. Can't wait to see what he can do this year.
Next, I am very pleased with the coaching performance of Kim. I love how he refused to put in the c teamers until we were up 50 and there was only a minute and a half left in the game. Keeping the gas pedal down is going to be huge for us this year. I really liked how despite the fact we were up 30 points he called a timeout and was furious with Geist after he failed to get back on defense. Great stuff.
My only disappointment was the lack of attendance at the arena. I think that L'Quan and D'ederick could hear me chirping at them last night from 20 rows from the floor. I'm disappointed in the student section turnout as well, even the antlers numbers looked down.
Aside from the attendance, last night was great. Let's go Tigers, MIZ!
