I did carry an adult and peds plastic airway support in my first aid kit back then.
Got a nice commendation letter as I was the first Ranger on the scene and kept people from flipping the car over (it was on its side). Hwy 19 just south of Round Spring...if they'd gone off the other shoulder the car would have been in Spring Valley hundreds of feet down.
Woman I was treating hit the windshield, unconscious, and had a helluva goose egg on her forehead.
Unlicensed driver with a car load of family on their way back from seeing a family member who was at Fort Hood.
