Freshman. Great sign for the future. Geist should be solid backing up Phillips, it won't be as big of a dropoff as I imagined.
Walton was sick, so you can't read much into his performance, VanLeer is obviously the better shooter and the staff trusts him so I'm not sure long term if Walton's fit within the team is going to keep him happy, especially if Geist is playing well.
Hopefully Mitchell can put on some pounds but man it's so hard sometimes for those really tall skinny guys to add weight when they're under 25 or so years old(think Tyson Chandler).
Jackson and Hughes are going to really good if they stay here all 4 years. Woods was vastly improved and not a complete liability when he was on the court, if Nikko and Smith can improve like Woods and Rosburg did there's a lot of reason to be excited for their future.
