then the appropriate role for him may be as sixth man (a la Dixon with Pressey).

We played two small guards frequently over the past two seasons (combinations of Sham/Clark/Isabell/Phillips), as do many other teams.

Phillips will be a two-year starter at point and a team leader. He's going to continue starting.
