I think this team surprises and gets around 18 wins and an NIT bid. Next year Smith grows into his body and you have 2 legit young bigs. Willie Jackson and Hughes are both players. Van Leer knocking down treys. Roberts as just what the doctor ordered to come in and spell Phillips. Not counting Walton and Barnett as well. I honestly really like the construction of the roster. Unfortunately they are just young again, but I see light. The biggest issue might be recruiting going forward. In basketball you don't need to build a roster from within your state. The top recruits are always going to go to Elite programs. You do want to land a few though, but Mizzou hasn't in my lifetime so not super worried about that. I'm a SLU season ticket holder so excited about them getting those recruits. I'd prefer they go to Mizzou though. I think Goodwin is the more important of the 2. Gordon has huge talent, but has some issues. Goodwin I think will come in right away and be very very good. He's Jordair Jett in a bigger body.
