which is where my big concern is, until they prove me wrong.
We should beat Ohio State, but they have a decent program, finished with a final RPI of 40 last year, and made the NCAA tournament.
We will be big underdogs to OU and UW of course.
Notre Dame and Texas have good programs, are on the verge of the top 25, finished 30 and 32 in the final RPI last year. I would call those toss ups at this point, without even knowing much about their teams.
So I would be really happy to go 3-2 out there against this schedule, think 2-3 is more likely. Until one or more of our young pitching staff steps up and shows they can throw to the level of controlling a top 25 team offense, I'm going to be a little pessimistic about Mizzou remaining a top 25 team. Hope they prove me wrong, and quickly.
