It's a reasonably tough schedule, could have been even worse.
For our young team, going 3-2 would be outstanding. Could also go 0-5 against that schedule.
And I kind of doubt the UW coach would pitch Stangel against us, she's not much for drama. Not that I'd be that worried about facing her. She has developed into a good hitter, which she would have also done at Mizzou had she stayed here. But she is a mediocre pitcher.
I've been meaning to ask you Bruce, how do they select the match ups out there? Do they just pull names out of a hat? Or do people try and pick good, fairly even games with some interest to them. If it's random pretty strange that we got games with UW and OU, considering everything. Coincidence?
