she "wins" will assuage the fears of many that she just isn't physically or mentally fit for the job. The, hey she got a bit dehydrated while she had pneumonia but is now fully recovered meme will look more plausible.

It certainly won't go away for many of those with a strong dislike of her already.

With regards to who is going to win the election, the key is going to be those sitting on the fence... the undecideds. I think a strong performance by her will be a big help for her with respect to questions about her health. Some sort of health related incident for her would be devastating, perhaps in more way than one.
