to suggest a politically correct solution, if EE has the opportunity I just think there is a big upside right now as the program works to regain its footing to hire a successful ex pitcher to work with the young pitching staff over the next few years. I was never that comfortable with the Gillis hire but can't really explain why. Maybe I just like the idea of a more balanced coaching staff (gender wise). Lots of different opinions about male coaches in softball, a subject EE has addressed before with the absolute honesty and candor that gets him in trouble with some people.
