He'd been wrestling freestyle for only a short period of time and still had a podium finish. Had he been aware of tiebreaker rules in Olympic wrestling, he very well could've been wrestling for Gold instead.

You're certainly not gonna see the Russian kid who won gold in that weight spend a year playing a different sport, but even with a year of football, Cox should be able to enter 2020 much better prepared.
