If you want to skip the family concept, the support concept, then skip recruiting players who fail psychological evaluations.
Everyone all happy to take on the player when he looks good on the field.
Then they cross their fingers when the rest don't look so good.
The outcome is predictable. How many more times do we have to see it before the enablers start taking responsibility?
Well, actually it's not a matter of 'times' is it? Because the enablers do not care - they just want the football.
But I'm saying that programs which truly show they care about their players will prevail in the end.
And the exploiters will eventually go down...
