unknown to the rest of the students at Mizzou. One has to really work to blow the opportunity with all of the resources available to them. Check every roster of 100+ youngsters--sadly, there will be some unfortunate outcomes. Especially considering some of the environments these kids come from.

There are few (if any) that came from a more dire environment than LeD Washington. Obviously, he is one of the best stories of overcoming one's situation. Much of it is attitude & taking advantage of the opportunities one gets. LDW rose up & did it. He's not only one of the best Mizzou outcomes--I'd bet he's one of college football's best stories. You can't live the lives of young players & make the correct decisions for them. Ultimately, they have to do that on their own.
