they're SEC teams with names you regularly see in the AP poll, all of the teams in the East have question marks. In fact, an article I read on UGA says that Richt really slacked off in recruiting and that their D has some serious issues. In fact, the article said that their LBs are basically awful. I wish I could remember or find the article, as it's been awhile. Won't have a returning proven QB either.
Florida also has some big question marks. Who's the QB? The WRs are young. The D lost some good players. So just because they're Florida and coming off an East title, they will take a step back.
Tenn being elite is laughable. We hear this year after year after year.
I don't like the prospects of playing at LSU and they'll be good.
What you have to understand is that our D is still one of the best in college football. Our O last year avg. 9 points in Conf. play. Our avg. since we joined the SEC is 24. If we only averaged say 21 a game, which conversely would mean we give up less points because of sustained drives, then we would've won the East last year. That's how poor our O was. 2nd from the last in the FBS in total O. Putrid.
Our team is going to surprise people this year, unless we have a run of injuries like '12. That'll derail any team, honestly.
