I think there's reason to think the O will be better. The OL is probably the one position group it's hardest to be optimistic about however.

Defense probably won't be elite but should be solid.

There's little difference in 6-6 and 9-3 in terms of what it means for a season. You're getting a bowl game but probably not in the running for a division title with less than 10 wins. It is very important to a young team in a hyper competitive conference to get the bowl practices. I'll be ok with 6 wins.
