white liberal administrators. They have come right out and stated that young black males cannot be expected to conform to societal and educational norms therefore we have to set different norms that they can handle.
The one time a layer into an official during a match is when she looked down at me after a play and said 'I would have called that last night.' The meaning was not lost on me, she basically said I call one game in the suburbs but when I come to the hood because your kids cannot be expected to play at that level. I actually call the head of officials in KC on that one. It is the one time in my career where I have reported an official.
What I expect from my students is exactly what I expect from my daughter. I very seldom get it but I will not change my expectations of them because that is an insult to them whether they and their parents understand that or not.
