Is pulling up around the sidelines, knowing defenders will do the same to avoid being penalized, and then turning it back on for a few extra yards or to lower the boom on a defender.
I think it's more that Mahomes never looks like he is running hard as opposed to pulling up, but he may want to watch out in future games if anyone thinks he is doing that because they may stop caring about the penalty risk and try to send a message.
