I do not agree with this statement

Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, a vaccine sceptic, announced he was pulling the funding over claims that "mRNA technology poses more risks than benefits for these respiratory viruses".

I would prefer government funding of research be overhauled an probably eliminated. I also do not think that is the place for a non-science executive to make that decision if such funding is done.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
