Was the development of a highly effective vaccine for the deadly COVID-19 virus. Operation Warp Speed saved literally millions of lives. To develop such an effective vaccine in such a short time was one of the truly great medical achievements of our time. Trump should be rightly proud of his leadership of this effort.

Conversely, of all the dangerous, reckless, and outrageous things Trump has ever done as President, and there are many, undoubtedly the worst was his cynical appointment of the dilettante RFK Jr to lead HHS. Americans have already died because of this appointment, and many more undoubtedly will die. Appointing this dishonest rube to such an important position showed utter contempt for the American people and for the entire notion of public health. America will be paying the price for this disastrous appointment for decades.
