letting flights to or from Israel enter their airspace, causing a lot of flights to divert large distances. Ditto for some shipping, causing time delays, higher insurance and fuel costs and some delays in supply lines.
They also apparently have some pipelines from Israeli gas fields to Europe which are shut down, causing more problems for Europe, which is trying to replace huge amounts previously coming from Russia,
Hopefully they won't get involved, but they are a huge military power in the ME.
