When you base your belief system on your feelings rational thought is not a factor.

That is why there is such a chasm between Dems and GOPers today. To the Dems the Minn shooter FELT like a woman, therefore he WAS a woman. GOPers say "He has a penis, he cannot be a woman." There is no middle ground between feelings and rationality.

Old school Dems would not recognize their party today. Could anyone imagine Ike Skelton in today's Dem party?
